The first Birmingham Savate International Open was held last weekend, 08 November 2025.
We were delighted to see teams and fighters from Cambridge, London, Edinburgh Savate, Birmingham Impact JKD and Guildford, and BFC Calais. 22 Assauts were completed including bouts between international medalists, novices, champions, teenagers to 60 years +
Organiser and Birmingham coach Alain Jean-Baptiste said “Events like these remind us that Savate is more than just a sport—it is a community built on respect, friendship, and shared passion. We are grateful for the effort each of you made to travel, compete, and support one another“.
