- F56 Louisa Furniss faced stiff opposition in her first World Championship and put in a strong performance against both the eventual Champion and runner-up.
- M65 Alain Jean-Baptiste won enough matches to get to the 1/4 final in his first international for GB.
- M70 Jack Davies gave us a wonderful display of assaut ‘virtusoité’ , but had only one group stage match plus a crowd-pleasing friendly.
- M75 James Antill added to his impressive medal collection by winning two group matches with panache to take Bronze.
- M80 James Southwood, was given enough good fortune to reach the final, but not enough to win it. Silver medal.
- M85. Luke McGuire won his first international bout, great showing and another step forward.
